    Hi folks

    Got couple of questions that I hope the community can help with: 
    1. How do I make each page filter independent of the other pages.  Basically, what I am looking for is to limit any filtering to the page itself, even if other page have visualizations derived from the same underlying data table. I thought I could find something in the help menu but I don't see
    2. My data source is a sql server which refreshes once a day.  There is a lag when the end user opens the visulization while SF is reading the data from the DB.   It seems like every user have to go through this lag.   Q: Is it possible to imbed the data in the visuslization once it is refereshed daily from the server?   Any thought on how to do that?

    1. Filtering Schemes.

    2. Because your database refreshes once a day , Use Sharing Routines and specify a time after Database refresh, the report will be ready at that time, so when the user opens the report, there won't be any lag.

    Hi John

    Awesome; many thanks for the feedback.  I just looked up "Sharing Routines" in SF Help and I see several artiles there.  I will go through them and I hope this will help solve my issue.
