    BigData error on Linux

S+ Version 8.2.0 for Linux 2.6.9-34.EL, 64-bit : 2010 I have some legacy code that uses bigdata functionality and it keeps throwing weird errors when I run it on Linux 64-bit. This is an example. Not all of the errors are reproducible. > mydata -1, errno=9, strerror->Input/output error) > class(mydata) [1] "bdFrame" > head(mydata) Problem in bd.internal.exec.node(engine.class = " BDLIndexRetrievalEngineNode (0) : /home/...... /.Data/__bdo/ca0011.def (No such file or directory) I'd be grateful of any pointers or suggestions (apart from "Rewrite it without the bigdata functionality"). Thanks, harry
