    Automation Services Web Service

I am trying to make a call to the Automation Services Web Service using the sample request below.  I am unclear what to pu where "string" is.  I've tried XML from a job file generated by the Job Builder, but it comes back with a response of "BAD REQUEST."  Has anyone used this web service in the past that can give me a sample call that will work, or give me guidance on how to configure a good call?  Thanks so much!
